We do a lot of outdoor winter activities; snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and some times even working. No matter what we are doing outside in the cold and snow, we needed the best winter boots we could find! - This boot has an amazing 400g of Thinsulate Ultra insulation to protect our feet to minus 40 degrees F! This protects our feet from becoming cold and numb while hiking, snowmobiling, cutting wood, hunting, etc.
- It's made with Waterproof Full-Grain Leather, meaning it's of excellent quality and will keep our feet dry.
- This boot is Seam-Sealed to keep our feet warm and dry when we walk through slush and wet snow. No leaking seams to let the cold water into our boots.
- The built-in gaiter/bootie has a simple barrel-lock closure to keep snow out of our boots while walking in deep snow. I hate getting snow down in my boots!
- The Achilles adjustment strap can be tightened to provide greater ankle support when walking or hiking on uneven terrain. So the boot isn't slipping and rubbing on the back of our heels.
